Scope:

This policy outlines the backup and retrieval processes for Customer Data as provided by Panacea. The backup policy ensures data integrity, security, and availability, supporting business continuity and disaster recovery.

Policy and Responsibilities:

1. Data Back-up

Panacea maintains a robust and automated backup system to protect Customer Data, in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use (https://www.panacea-software.com/terms-of-use).

• Daily Backups: Customer Data is backed up daily to a secure secondary storage system.
• On-Site Resilience: Data storage uses RAID technology for real-time protection and redundancy.
• Off-Site Storage: An additional encrypted backup is retained at a geographically separate UK-based secure data centre to provide enhanced resilience.

2. Data Recovery

In the event of data loss or corruption, Panacea will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore Customer Data from the latest available backup, in accordance with the Terms of Use.

3. Backup Security Measures

• Backups are protected against unauthorised access, modification, or deletion.
• Secure encryption methods are used to safeguard stored data.
• Backup integrity is monitored, and regular validation tests are conducted to ensure recoverability.
